Scenic Route through the Elan Valley

Starting from Elan Valley visitors centre LD6 5HP. Meet from 9:30 to leave at 10:00.

Lunch stop at Devils Bridge SY23 3JW.

Weather permitting maybe drive on towards Aberystwyth with a possibility of visiting the Red Kite feeding station at Bwlch Nant yr Arian Visitors Centre SY23 3AB.

Option of stopping for a meal in the area. To be agreed nearer the time.

On Friday 17th some of us will be travelling up from Oxfordshire.

Meeting at the Magor Roadchef on the M4 (time to be agreed).

From there we will be driving up to Lyn Brianne Dam & Reservoir, ending up at the Elan Valley Hotel, Rhyader, LD6 5HN,

Hotel. If you want to book a room 01597 810655, (mention SLK group) for an overnight stay. We stayed there last year and the rooms and food were excellent.
