A weekend tour starting with gathering the night before on the 6th June at Rossett Hall Hotel near Oswestry. Start Saturday 7th June 9.30ish drive from Oswestry area to just North of Bala Lake over mountain pass. Stop at North Wales White Water centre for comfort and coffee stop. Restart drive over Bala to Ffestiniog road, then drop down to Porthmadog. Lunch and car parking at the Welsh Highland Railway before a trip on the little train from Porthmadog to Beddgelert, leave Porthmadog 14.05, arrive Beddgelert at 14.45, 50 minutes in Beddgelert maybe time to visit poor Gelerts grave!!! then back on the train at 15.40 arrive Porthmadog 16.45. The trip on the train is up the beautiful Glaslyn pass following the river most of the way. The cost for the train is, is £30 per head. (Discounted price for the club) Then adjourn to our hotel  The Bron EifIon at Criccieth and Club dinner later in the evening. Sunday Leave around 10.00 drive to Blanau Ffestiniog then along the Crimea pass to Betws y Coed – onto the EVO triangle at Pentrefoelas, drive most of the triangle stopping at Llyn Brenig Visitor centre for lunch, then people free to leave to head either North to Chester or South towards Llangollen
