WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

August 2017

The SLK Owners Club UK began in August 2017 as a Facebook group created to offer SLK owners a welcoming and friendly alternative to some of the more intimidating or elitist car forums.

From the very beginning, the idea was simple: make every SLK owner feel welcome.

Members were encouraged to ask questions, share their experiences and enjoy their cars without judgement. Friendship, enjoyment and a shared enthusiasm for the Mercedes-Benz SLK were at the heart of the community.
