OUR COMMUNITY

A Friendly & Welcoming Club

The SLK Owners Club UK was founded on a simple principle: to create a friendly and welcoming community where SLK owners can share their enthusiasm for their cars without intimidation or judgement.

We want everyone involved with the Club to feel welcome, respected and able to participate.

This Members’ Conduct Statement sets out the standards of behaviour expected when participating in Club activities, events, online communities and other Club-related spaces.

This introduction reflects the Club’s documented founding ethos: welcoming every SLK owner, encouraging questions, avoiding judgement and focusing on enjoyment, friendship and shared enthusiasm.

MEMBER CONDUCT

What We Expect From Our Members

Join a friendly community of Mercedes-Benz SLK and SLC owners from across the UK. Full membership gives you access to Club benefits, events, resources and the wider owners’ community.

Be Respectful

Treat other members, volunteers, event organisers, businesses and members of the public with courtesy and respect.

Different opinions and experiences are part of any community. Discussions should remain constructive and respectful.

Be Welcoming

Help us maintain the friendly environment on which the Club was founded.

New members and those who may be less experienced with their SLK or SLC should feel comfortable asking questions and participating in Club activities.

No Intimidation or Harassment

Bullying, harassment, threatening behaviour or deliberate intimidation has no place within the Club.

Respect Differences

Discrimination or abusive behaviour directed towards another person should not be tolerated within Club activities or Club-managed spaces.

Use Club Spaces Responsibly

Members should use Club websites, social channels, groups and other communication platforms responsibly and avoid behaviour that disrupts the community.

Membership year: 1 April – 31 March. Your membership number provides access until 31 March following your application date.
