Newcastle to Coleraine, Northern Ireland & August 17th 2025 Inishowen, Donegal, Ireland

Day 1 – Starting from Newcastle, County Down, and travelling the beautiful Northern Ireland coastal route, with scenic stops and a short ferry crossing across the stunning Strangford Lough. A midway stop in historic Carrickfergus, before travelling the Antrim Coast and Glens, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Our journey ends in the Causeway coastal town of Coleraine at The Lodge Hotel, where we meet for an optional meal and lots of good Norn Irish hospitality and craic.
Day 2 – Starting from The Lodge Hotel, Coleraine and travelling to County Donegal in the Republic of Ireland via another short ferry across the Foyle, following the Inishowen 100 Coastal Scenic Drive (https://www.theirishroadtrip.com/the-inishowen-100/). This follows a route around the rugged, striking and beautiful Inishowen Peninsula on the North west Coast of Donegal. Returning to The Lodge Hotel for dinner in the evening.
*Options for dinner on Saturday and Sunday will be shared with registered participants at a later date, along with details of a preferential overnight rate for SLK’ers at The Lodge Hotel
