On Sunday 7th May 18 cars had an early morning start to get parked on our Club stand at the South Wales car festival at Chepstow racecourse. Unfortunately due to the previous weeks weather a lot of the club stands were cancelled due to waterlogged ground but thanks to the Stirling efforts of our Member Peter Preston who organized the day, our stand was on tarmac and not affected. We were also blessed with wall to wall sunshine with the area recording its highest temperature for the time of year, leaving a lot of us looking like boiled lobsters. Everyone had a fantastic day and it was then back to our hotel at Aberavon Beach to enjoy yet another club dinner in private dining. A big thanks to Peter Preston for organizing such a great day on behalf of the Club.
